haahah! i can't believe you got it right from the very beginning! i really thought i was going to have another girl. which would have been awesome too because Chei wanted a baby sister more than anything. but it's a boy...which is good too because now jun can have his turn dressing up his little son.
now that you mentioned it, he does look like a BIG boy. must be all the cake...
wow now you're gonna have a daughter AND a son! that's totally what I'm hoping for (uh, when I eventually settle down and get married that is LOL).
btw, i've always wanted to ask, do you have fun dressing chei up? does she pick out her own clothes? i really want a daughter that is exactly like me and loves pretty dresses so i can dress her up in frills and ruffles =D but i realise she might not like those stuff.
yes, i still can't believe i'm going to have a son. i'm so used to having just a daughter, i really am not sure what it would be like with a little boy. it'll all be so new to me!
when chei was younger (around baby to 3 yrs old) it was really fun dressing her up. but now that she's 4 turning 5, she doesn't like it anymore. she chooses her own clothes most of the time. which is fine because she loooooooves being in dresses. she picked up mommy's fashion sense quickly =D
i know! she was sad at first when the ultrasound tech said she was going to have a baby brother and i thought she was going remain upset throughout the whole day. but as soon as i asked her what were the things that she could teach her baby brother, she thought for a second and then she went on like a machine gun..."i'll teach him how to ride a bike, kick a soccer ball, fly a kite, how to jump in puddles, play golf..." lol. it didn't take long for her to realize that having a brother was just as good as having a sister. she's such an awesome little girl.
YAY!!!! A boy! Woot! I'm so happy for you guys. Sorry Chei, Mommy and Daddy are just going to have another go at it after this for a baby sister :). 3s a charm afterall, you know that right? Lol.
Chei is too cute. Like I said you'll have to try again and give Chei a baby sister.
They say you tend to have the same number of kids as your parents. I was just wondering. I come from 3, we have 3. My sister has 3. The mister comes from a family of 2 though.
Im not closing the door on the idea of having one more baby, but I really do want to just mellow out and live life just raising the kids we have now and perhaps start and nurture a career. And you know, travel with the family and all. But who knows, maybe in two years I'll be pregnant again...MAYBE.
I've always thought the same thing! But with my family it's the total opposite. I have 1 brother and 2 sisters. My brother has 1 child, my older sister has 1 child as well, my little sister is too young to have a child, and I'm the only one who's going to have 2. I know for sure my brother is done having kids as his wife does not want to have anymore (I find that sad b/c my brother wants to have more) and my older sister wants to have at least one more. Even with my cousins, they all have 2 kids each and they're done having babies. But it's a whole 'nother story with Jun's side. He has 1 brother and 3 sisters...who just love to have babies! On his side alone, he has 12 nieces and nephews! But Jun said he doesn't want to have a big family like them, he's okay with just 2.
Congrats again on having a boy!! The best of both worlds! Although I'm still trying to get used to having our little boy pee all over the place when we change his diaper! hehe.. we keep him covered but he still manages to pee all over the walls when we remove the cover to put on the diaper!
hahahaha! i was thinking about that, the whole peeing all over the place thing. did you guys buy a peepee teepee? lol. i'm getting some of those for sure!
she was very sad at first when she was told that it was a boy. and now, after i made her realize that she can have as much fun with a boy as with a girl, she's fully accepted it. she said she'll teach him how to play tea party. haha. that should be fun.
