I get annoyed when people add friends just so they can have 10000000 billion friends!

hunny that is why i have deleted my account. it started to become some kind of place for these losers to snoop. friends my ass! they only wanted to expand their lists and when i declined their 'friend' request, if i happened to bump in to them, they are all like, 'why didnt you add my on fb?!' saddos,

anyway, it was a great place to share pics and keep in contact with family and friends overseas but i guess i did that before with emails and letters.

geeze...i can't believe will actually ask "why didn't you save me on facebook???" haha.

i really was contemplating on deleting my account altogether, but i couldn't because i've so many family in there that are in different parts of the world whom i like to share photos with...although i don't really post pics often. i just like to look at theirs to catch up and stuff. i'm really not the e-mailing type, i never was. odd how that is. i should really get back to writing letters and sending pics through the mail...that would be awesome.

I really agree with you 100%!!! now I am about to clean my facebook, to make it more private. (hope you did not delete me though :P) just be extra nicer to me, and hopefully we could meet personally :P lol hugs ! I always remember you and our chikahan about gluta and bataan kids where I do my chairty worx :)

no, i didn't delete any lj friends because i feel that at least in one way or another, we all know eachother to some degree with the things we write in our blogs. like i said, even if i don't comment i still read my friend's entries whenever i can just so i know what's up.

oh by the way! i'm gonna need some of those gluta myself because this pregnancy totally put my skin out of whack! i guess it's true what they say, kapag lalake ang magiging anak mo umiitim lahat! lol. my kilili is no longer transparent white like it used to be...it's so dark now =( and i could tell my face and neck have gotten darker, too. nakakainis. so give me a few months after birth and i will call you for some of those magic pills. ok? =D

I keep both my facebook and myspace to people who I know. I never add anyone I don't know...not even to be nice, cause I'm NOT nice! LOL! Call it stuck up, whatever, I don't like drama so I keep my online sites private =)

haha...i don't know why i am THAT nice. like, with some of these people i wonder how they even found me and why in the world would they add me??? one time i had a 55 yr old man add me who looked like a terrorist...i felt bad when i looked at his profile and saw that he had seven friends. i added him just to be nice and then i deleted him last night. lol. now i feel bad. see! i'm such a loser.

I don't write very much on LJ, so I don't get it here, but it happens to me on facebook ALL THE TIME. If you were SO mean to me in high school, why would you even THINK you could press friend?

EXACTLY! i have someone in my f-list from elementary (yes, you know him) who tortured me throughout my childhood and he had the nerve to add me! but i added him anyway b/c i thought it was time to let go of the past. people change and perhaps he has, too. but c'mon, i would never request anyone to add me who i didn't get along with back in the days. not that i'm being childish, but i'd rather leave it to fate to see if our friendship is meant to be =)

i know what you mean...i made this journal under those circumstances. i didn't want to defriend just a few people so i defriended everyone and made a new journal and just friended those i trust.

oh and on FB, i just don't respond to friend requests...and the few people i have on there that i am weary of are on the limited list. kinda sucks, though, wish i could just make a new acct anonymously. lol. i like the apps.

i'm glad i have lj. very few people who i know in real life know about it (or so i think) so it still allows me to have the freedom to write what i want without feeling restricted.

i used to not respond to friends request, too, until it reached over 200+ requests and i got annoyed decided to go over them. most i added just to be nice and others i declined because i didn't know who they were and they looked kinda creepy. lol. but i did an awesome job cleaning out my list last night and i think i'm down to less than 200 friends. which i find rather nice.

When I was first on Facebook, I didn't mind adding the people that I already knew -- but when I started seeing random people that don't even say HI when I see them in public trying to add me, or even see people who used to not even like me, I drew the line. I just press DECLINE or delete them.

Facebook is turning into Friendster which was previously AsianAvenue. It's a damn shame. LOL!

haha, it's funny how some of these people are clearly people who don't get along with and they have the nerve to add you. for real, if you don't or never liked me...why add me??? just doesn't make any sense.

i really am considering closing down my facebook. i think i will just take down everything and leave my status update with something like "If you need me, e-mail me..." i don't know if that will make things easier or not. we'll see!

i feel the same way. i juss cleaned out my friends as well. alot of people juss wanna snoop!

i don't get it. i'll admit once in a while i get curious as to how "so and so" is doing, but i don't get interested enough to actually request to be added just for the purpose of snooping. lame.

I'm totally with you on the people using the status updates for drama. if you got somethin to say to me, say it, and don't post drama on your status update!

glad to see I made the cut. I figure you update there more than you do here and the likelihood of finding out that you had the baby already would go there first than here! Muahahaha. I need to do a cleansing too.

i dunno. i don't really wanna do the whole facebook thing anymore. it's just gotten too publicized for me. it's nice that i've found some old friends in there and have connected with relatives from around the globe, but there's so much unnecessary drama on there. i think eventually i will just keep my fb account strictly for family and close friends. i'll keep all of the lj peeps in my f-list too but won't be adding anymore. but asides to that, i will ALWAYS have lj =)
